First and foremost

It all begins with an idea.

Last Month was such a whirlwind, but. I did get around to making the first blog post which was a goal of mine. Writing is becoming more required for me to contact shops, cafes, possible retailers etc, and it’s starting to feel good journaling daily or weekly again. When I first moved to NYC back in 2015 it was something I picked up regularly to make it through the days. I still have a bunch of them that I kept over the years. It was new to me meeting so many people in one day and trying to remember names.

I recently had the opportunity to have my Article in Our Time Press weekly newspaper. It all happened so randomly but I couldn’t help but think about all those years prior writing in my notepads. Then not to mention all the years before them writing lyrics in my notebooks. I guess that was meant to be with the amount of hours I put in perfecting my skills. Can’t help thank Bernice Elizabeth, the Editorial curator for passing that opportunity my way. Go check it out and leave a comment about what you think.

Unfortunately I have also lost a member to my pet family. Thrasher and I had to say goodbye to our beloved Milo. He was just about to turn 5 years old in September but he ran into some complications with his bladder. I noticed he was having trouble peeing a few weeks before and brought him to the vet. With the issue being on and off it was hard to gauge if he was in actual pain. After another notice and noises I wasn’t use to hearing, I brought him in again. As the problems got better after he received a diet change and more medication. For about a week he seemed ok and then After that he just went downhill and sadly wouldn’t recover. If you met Milo, you loved him. Keep him in your thoughts.

Since this is an update about the August I will let you know about what cool things happen for the month of September that you might’ve missed. Thanks for being apart of the collective!
